Bachas Beach / Baltra

An optional early morning landing on Bachas Beach before we vacate our cabins and head back to the mainland this morning. Bachas Beach is a wet landing on soft white sand and we head along the shore line. We see pelicans and blue-footed boobies, a blue heron, plovers and other shore birds. We also see a couple of flamingos flying, but there are none in the lagoon. We do however see a couple of white cheeked pintail ducks and a yellow crowned night heron!

Sadly time to leave our ship and and head off to the airport for our flight back to Guayaquil!

Many memories to take with us, and these islands are definitely enchanted!
